On June 10th in Church History from LDS Gifts

  • 1844: The Nauvoo Expositor is deemed a public nuisance by the Nauvoo City Council and the press is destroyed. This action begins the process that lead to the death of the Prophet Joseph and Hyrum Smith.
  • 1883: The first stake in Colorado is organized in San Louis.
  • 1981: The first stake in Portugal is organized in Lisbon.

Thanks for visiting Great LDS Gifts.
