• 1829: Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery receive the Aaronic Priesthood from John the Baptist on the banks of the Susqehanna River.
• 1844: Anthon H. Lund is born in Denmark. He would later serve as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and in the First Presidency.
• 1858: John W. Taylor is born in Utah. He would later serve as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
