On May 4th in Church History from LDS Gifts

  • 1842: Joseph Smith administers the first endowments in the upper room of the Red Brick Store.
  • 1856: Many of the members of the Martin and Willie handcart company leave England aboard the Thornton headed for New York.

There are many reasons and times to give a Great LDS gift. Birthday, anniversary, graduation, Mother's day or Father's day are some great times. Another idea is to give an inspiring LDS gift to help when starting a new school year or to give some additional reading material during the summer. Christmas LDS gift ideas are also a fun way to give a gift while remembering the reason for Christmas or Easter. You may want to give an LDS gift of an Apostle's book following General Conference or to remind a home teaching family that you care. Whatever your reason, a great LDS gift will help show you care.
