On May 24th in Church History from LDS Gifts

  • 1845: The capstone of the Nauvoo temple is laid by the Saints under the direction of Brigham Young.
  • 1944: Due to World War II, the Church announces that it will restrict the number of military-age men as bishops. This frees many men up to serve in the military.
  • 1999: FamilySearch Internet Genealogy Service is launched. It quickly becomes one of the most sought-after sites on the Internet with over 40 million hits a day.

Great LDS gifts is a fun site to visit and get some ideas for gifts for dads, moms, teens, or just to give a gift of inspiration for any event. Books from the Apostles or a book on CD can be a great way to give a gift that can have a long lasting effect. Finding something for someone who has everything can be tough or finding a gift that can be fun for a teen and spiritual as well or just finding a movie that will be appropriate for the whole family. Whatever your need is, you can make your next gift a Great LDS gift.
